Monster of the Day: Screwed Up Mermaid

Threat Assessment: 2. As a normal mermaid I guess she could swim pretty fast. After being given a magic potion she was reversed so the fishy half was her face so she might be able to give a good bite. The change did drive the fisherman to catch her to dive into the water and presumably drown.

Folks that read the books no doubt would rate Jon higher, but we are talking the first season. In the first season Jon is still learning to be a warrior. He does get points though for killing a wight.
Villainy and Blackguards Incorporated #17: The Watch Witch
Villains and Blackguards Incorporated (VABI) is an organization found on Earth 32aa which has dedicated itself to protecting the interest of those of differently enabled morality and enhanced humanity. They take care of legal expenses and investments. It has become a very successful organization and is considering spreading to other Earths. In case they do here are some of it's members.
VABI has pointed out that many of its members are not conventionally sane. A brief in house study showed that twenty percent of VABI's membership suffer from significant mental disorders. Top among these are obsessive compulsive disorders. The Watch Witch is a good example of this as any.
Ruth Lesly Tempus was always obsessed with time and wasting it. Her house was full of clocks and over the years she developed rituals to "save" time doing various chores. She had few people in her life simply because she just couldn't stand how people waste time. She never considered herself lonely as long as she could hear her big grandfather clock ticking. Keeping order in her life.
That order was destroyed by a fire caused by a fight between cosmic powered beings. Enraged she attacked the one that earth people call the Mechanist. The Mechanist rather than just vaporizing her saw something and gave her a bit of cosmic energy. She became the Watch Witch with the ability to stop time. She no longer cared about her lost clocks. The universe was now her time piece, and now she could punish all those people who waste time.
Since then the Watch Witch has gone on various crime sprees. They range from thefts of various time related targets to murder. She is undeniably insane and unpredictable. Still she pays her dues and VABI in turn has taken care of various legal matters for the Mistress of Minutes.
