"Easter Eggs," those cute little extras you find hidden in DVDs and games are not a new thing. In the original plans for the Babbage Engine, basically a steam punk computer, there was what many perceived as a flaw that was later removed from later plans. If the engine is built with the flaw and then if you ask it to compute pi to 23 numbers it will instead play a spirited rendition of "The Landlord's Daughter."
This was something you needed to know.
