Toe Toves live in lost socks. They seem to like it so I won't knock it. If annoyed they can do a form of sympathic magic on the owner of the lost sock. If you've felt a sudden pain in your feet you might have offended a Toe Tove. Leaving an offering of jam and pickles under the bed can help.
