There is a statue in the park.  It has seemingly been forgotten.   It is away from the paths in the woods.  It looks like the statue of a saint, but its face is always in deep shadows.  No doubt because it is in the woods.  No doubts.  The homeless now leave offerings to the statue.  No one knows if their prayers have been answered.
