Dr. Cyclops
Dr. Cyclops is the very best of old fashion cheese. Seems like there's a mad doctor at work in the middle of the Amazon. He invites a famed scientist to help him. Famed scientist brings token female, and token hero. There is token tough guy with mules, and token spanish comedy relief. Once in the jungle they find that our mad doctor, who is nearly blind without his glasses, has created an atomic shrinker.
Oops guess how they help kindly, crazed Dr. Cyclops? Yep they get shrunk. Now they are the teeny prisoners of a man with a gigantic ego. Can they escape? Will the cat have a little extra snack?
As I said this is good old fashioned cheesy fun. I enjoyed the back and forth between the teeny professor and Dr. Cyclops. Even though he's at the time like 6 inches he's still thinks he's the big cheese. Another nice thing is that it has an incredible color sense for a horror film. The Jungle is very lush.
If it was made today, it would even be worse for the little people. A few episodes of animal planet under everyone's belt and we know know just how nasty a jungle can be if you are six inches high.
