Villainy and Blackguards Incorporated #22: The Dishonourable Lord Johnson

Villains and Blackguards Incorporated (VABI) is an organization found on Earth 32aa which has dedicated itself to protecting the interest of those of differently enabled morality and enhanced humanity. They take care of legal expenses and investments. It has become a very successful organization and is considering spreading to other Earths. In case they do here are some of it's members.


VABI's legal arm is second to none.   We hire only the best, the brightest, and most devious.  They must know intimately the spirit of the law and how to bend it to VABI's purposes.  It's no wonder then that we have Lord Johnson, informally known as the dishonourable, as our head legal consul for our European division.  There is no better master of the law and its legal miscarriages.

Lord Johnson rose quickly as young man to Judgeship.  Once there though something became very clear.  He was looking for reasons, all very legal, to throw out cases on the worst criminals ever.  Child molesters and murderers found a friend ini Lord Johnson.  It was when he was asked about it in an interview that he said that he was actually a devil from hell put here to help pave the way for the apocalypse.  As you can guess this created an uproar. 

There was nothing really that could be done.  He has broken no law nor it seems gone against the legal cannons.  In fact, he even rolled out a religious discrimination suite against one distractor pointing out that satanism is just a valid religion legally.   For a while he basked in the media attention.  He likened himself to Aliester Crowley except of course that he was a real devil.

Whether Lord Johnson is a devil or not is still a point of speculation.  He has not done anything of a magical nature and all medical examinations have revealed only a healthy human body.  He does, though, seem to be blessed with the luck of the devil.  Several assassinations were foiled only by odd coincidences.  When asked about that he just smiles.

It was obvious he was a natural for VABI.  While we don't normally hire those who's goals are to destroy the earth it was felt that Lord Johnson's plans were less to destroy the Earth than to afflict chaos upon that.  VABI can support that as there are several valid business business models that can take advantage of that condition.  His work for VABI so far has been exceptional and when you really need a twisted legal strategy there is none better.
