In the Great Woods

In the Great Woods..
In the sheltering cold..
In the craddling dark...
Old hands rise again...
baring the druid's toll...
to rule...
....in the Great Woods.

  1. I'm not sure of the imagery in the prose. I find sheltering cold difficult, but the alliteration of using cradling cold. Then use sheltering dark, as dark does provide shelter of a sort, from prying eyes, etc... Might make this a stronger piece.
