Death Race 2

Death Race 2 like the first remake of the classic Corman film (and doesn't it hurt to call anything by Corman "classic?"), lacks a sense of humor or satire. It is loud, explodey, and full of sound and fury signifying an action film. This one is a prequel which shows the origin of "Frankenstein" and the whole death race show. Really there's nothing new here, and I kept watching just for the car explosions and Danny Trejo who didn't do much but then never has to do much.
