"BEST DEATH RACE EVER!" The Joker
Well last night's "Brave and the Bold," was wacky even for that show. The alien warlord Mongol gathers heroes and villains and constructed a race course. The rules are simple. If Mongol's racer wins he gets to destroy the Earth. If anyone of Earth wins they get to rule the Earth. If you are forced from the race you'll be teleported to Mongol's warmoon to await execution and to watch the rest of the race. There are no other rules.
The race itself was great fun, and it was amusing to see the "concept" vehicles of other heroes and villains. Plastic Man sort of cheats by turning into a car, as does Green Lantern Guy Gardner who just makes a car from his ring. Better is Cat Woman's ride which even includes a cat's tail, and the Ghost's antique hot rod hearse was sweet. The best of course was the Batmobile and Joker's car. Truly a duel of titans.
I just love any excuse for a race like this. Besides it gives ME the excuse to trot out this unused pilot for a "Wacky Races" update. Shame they didn't go for it.
