A woman is hanging off a tree like a country ham. Her picture is taken by her abductor. Later he's killed in a car accident and the picture is discovered by police. They now have to figure out where the woman is before her time runs out.
This is the compelling beginning to a very good little mystery. Judd Nelson is the cop trying to piece together the life a dead sicko. Tom Arnold is another killer who gets involved. This film has a nice feel to it, good characterization and some actual half way decent acting.

The beginning puts me in mind of one of the Prey books by John Sandford. Love Detective Davenport! Seems like a solid cast, even if they haven't been heard from in awhile.

ReplyDeleteI've always enjoyed him. I think he has that same tender quality that Adam Sandler has, a sensitivity. He got a bad rap because of who he was married to, which was unfair.
