Threat Assessment: 5. A statue made of clay brought to life, it has great strength and durability. It also doesn't need to eat, or breath, or rest or sleep. If you set it at a task it will do so tirelessly.
Limitation: Like a computer it tends to take orders literally. Requires magic words to be active. Remove the words and you just got a big garden gnome.
Personal note: The original golem is a part of jewish myth and was recreated in several stunning silent films. Lately, the golem has been at work in Terry Pratchett's Discworld. There they have been having the worlds most civil revolution where they have been buying their own freedom one golem at a time.
