The Stranger

Starring wrestler Steve Austin, not the bionic man I'm afraid. Directed by a verteran of TV who has a couple of episodes of 'Dexter' under his belt. This is a simple, by the numbers action film. Very no nonsense, and no other actors of any any real note. This is the Austen show all the way.

Here he plays someone suffering from amenesia. He may or may not have information that will lead to outing an FBI mole. Of course this makes any interaction with federal agents dicey. Is he resisting arrest or acting in self defense. Only a heroic lady gal psychiatrist is on his side as she hunts for him and tries to therapy him back to mental health.

There could have been a lot of interesting subtext here like in the movie "Memento," but this is just an exercise in butt kickery. Nothing wrong with that and Steve-o doesn't embarrass himself.

Just wish he was bionic.
