Found on a Wall of a Babylonian Restroom
It is said that the this represents fertility spirits pushing up reeds. Dr. Amon Ree though says that each figure is actually a child of Kadla, an old forgotten deity of Akkad before the Babylonians conquered it. The children of Kadla watched for those using the bathroom and made sure no one ever blundered into your stall as you were busy or that you were out of paper or whatever your choice in that matter is.
