The Wyrm and St. Lars
At night, the Wyrm the great liar, is said to stalk and thread through the fog of Sanger Valley. It is a part of the legend that it particularly likes to skulk outside of the church of St. Lars on the off chance a wicked clergy man tries to sneak from the church to sin in village below. The clergymen of St. Lars are known for their piety.

I like how the Wyrm could be fog, could be seen through the water, may just be a white figment on the imaginations of the Saints or villagers.
