Well today's episode was under the sea. There wasn't any talking crabs though. What we had was a view of Atlantis home of Aquaman and Aqualad. Here we have an answer to the question some have asked about Aqualad in the geekish community which was, "Hey wasn't he white?" Well yes he was, we meet the original Aqualad. It seems that "Aqualad" is something of a title that the original Garth has given up. We also meet Black Manta an old aquaman foe who decides to spoil the whole Atlantean party. You know it's probably not a good idea to pick on a race of folk where super strength is common. Black Manta was there to get a huge starfish thing the Atlanteans found. I do believe it to be Starro but we'll see. At the end it was destroyed except for one rapidly regenerating piece.
Over all this was a good episode and it was nice to see an episode focus on the most mature character of the team. The other characters were given little moments of their own as well but this was really aqualad's show to shine in.
