The Brave and the Bold

DC's animation unit has always treated Captain Marvel well. Which is better than how DC itself handled the big red cheese. Originally, from another company DC sued the creators of Captain Marvel for infringing on Superman. Afterwards they sucked in the Captain into the DC folds but rarely knew how to use him. The shame is really there isn't much comparison between between Superman and Captain Marvel. Superman may be a big boy scout, but Bill Batson as Captain Marvel is really a boy made big.

In this very special episode of Brave and the Bold, all the Marvels (Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel, and Captain Marvel Jr.) all team up with Batman to fight the Marvel's greatest villains. The teeny tiny Mr. Mind proves to be the most problem as he splits up the marvel family. Batman, meanwhile, must contend with becoming younger and younger. This is a fast pace and delightful episode with injokes for the geeks in the know but never too geeky for the rest of the viewing audience.
